Well, I made some new friends and biked around once the weather cleared up and had some awesome dinners with awesome people and it’s beginning to almost feel like I live here in Austin. Which is good because technically I moved here 5 months ago next week (although I long joked that I was moving here in September because I was gone so much until then). The house is close to being done and I am starting to get into routines, make plans, and have friends.
One routine? Sundays at Shoal Creek, where Nali gets to run around wreaking havoc off leash legally and I get to stroll in the sunshine.
I love voyeuring into my friends’ work lives, so getting to work at my childhood bestie’s office in San Antonio this week was a dream. She’s a badass startup CEO of a company called Transect and it’s so awesome to see her succeed and make such a huge impact! And to sit a few hours in her chair …

And even though Halloween isn’t until next week, it appears this weekend is considered Halloween by all who celebrate, so excuse me while I go make some boozy jello worms…
