CrossFit Workout: 100 Thrusters for Time.
Maximum pain in the minimum amount of time.
Me: 12:10 at 75#, the soreness kicked in before the reps were even done. The personal trainer next to me watched me complete my reps and said, “I wanna be like you when I grow up.” He’s older than me. Today, walking down stairs is excruciating. But the mental challenge and accomplishment of doing 100 reps is pretty freaking sweet.
So sweet, in fact, that Jim Wendler (daddy of big lifting? Wendler 531?) just wrote a post for T-Nation about the 100-Rep Challenge, a six week plan involving two days of 100-rep lifting. It’s an excellent plan worth giving some thought to following if you’re looking to mix things up with your routine.
